The heart of MIS is medium and large mild steel fabricating. Our Ashland, OH facility is ISO 9001:2000 certified and houses a plasma/ burn table capable of cutting up to 3” thick material, a 4000 watt auto-loading, lights out capable laser, able to cut 1” mild material at an incredible pace. We also have two press breaks with up to 350 ton capacity and a 12‘ bed. We can roll sheet and plate up to 8’ wide and 3/8” thick, and have our own angle roll for 3 ½ x 3 ½ x 3/8” angle, and can also roll tubing and bar. Our welders are AWS qualified. We have our own blasting operation along with liquid and powder coating available in house. We also have multiple overhead cranes up to 20 ton capacity. Our customers are in the energy, heating, coating, and general metal industries in the United States and overseas.
MSF has a focus primarily on the fabrication of medium to large stainless steel products. Our capabilities include a 4000 watt laser which can cut up to ¾ “ stainless material up to 12’ long, two press breaks up to 350 tons and 12’ capable, and various other steel fabricating equipment. We also feature an in-house machine shop used to augment our fabrication operation.
We employ skilled Mig and Tig welders with ASME boiler and pressure vessel code and AWS qualifications and certifications. We have stainless blast capability. Primary customers are in the industrial food processing equipment, energy, veterinary, and medical industries around the world.
